During NBA All-Star Weekend back in 2006, Laura decided to enter a model competition in order to gain access to all major events taking place. The show never materialized, but needless to say she ended up getting discovered in spite of it. What followed was casting call for Show Magazine, where she earned a 12-page spread in the publication. Since then she’s been featured in XXL Magazine, FHM Magazine, Black Mens Magazine, Lowrider Girl, the Ultimate Fight Night Calendar, the Karl Kani International Ad Champagne with Three 6 Mafia, and an array of other projects. In just two short years, she’s built up a solid resume and by the ways things are going, her credits will only continue to increase. As the saying goes: “Everything is big in Texas” and Laura Dore can certainly add her name to that statement.

INTRODUCE

My name is Laura and I was born and raised in Texas. I am mixed, my ethnic background consists of Brazilian,African American,Italian,Polish,French and Puerto Rican. I have been in several national magazines, upcoming projects include Blackmens mag, Show mag and Slim Thug's "Theme Song" video.

SEXY:
I think "sexy" is more about being comfortable in your own skin than about physical beauty. I do work out on a regular basis to help keep my stress level down.

NUMBER 1:
Well, I have a koi tattooed on my foot.

LOVE:
I love my neurotic rednose pitbull, Butter.

HATE:
Sprint, hangnails, people that talk loudly on cell phones in public places

CULTURE:
I think the whole rap game has gone downhill. There used to be different genres under the genre rap lol, now everything's starting to sound the same.

CHANGE:
Ban BSL!!!!! ( I'm sure I could think of something to benefit all of mankind but this is about me damnit!)

GROWING PAINS:
Growing up, I was extremely introverted and never really "fit in" with the rest of the kids. My mom had no clue what to do with my hair (I'm adopted) so I had a mini fro until I was in about 5th grade.

INDUSTRY:
Traveling is a positive and negative side of the industry. Modeling is a great way to see the world but on the other hand it keeps you away from friends and family.
